Learn More About Hair Transplantation

No-Shave FUE

Follicular Unit Extraction is a hair transplantation method in which hair on the donor area is extracted one by one, the whole hair on the patient’s head is shaved according to the process and the extracted follicular is planted into the desired area in the head.

This is one of the leading hair transplantation techniques in the world. The other one is called ” No-Shave FUE” which is the patient’s hair is not fully shaved but the donor area only. This method is mostly preferred by those who don’t want to wait for their hair to grow.

The process is the same as in the standard FUE technique. This optional treatment takes more time than the original FUE technique. Surgeons don’t want to damage or interrupt the rest of the hair, so they are highly focused on the process during the surgery.

If you are in a dilemma that you can’t decide whether you want the transplant shaved or not shaved, we suggest you use the original FUE Method. Because it’s always better to watch your fully-shaved hair growing after the surgery. And every piece of your hair will be in the same size which means you’re convinced that the donated part is as healthy as you wanted.

Reasons For Choosing Non-Shave FUE Method

There may be a couple of reasons to choose the Non-Shave FUE Method. But most of them depend on the personal choices of patients. You may consider having a Non-Shave FUE Method if you;

  • Simply don’t want to lose all of your hair.
  • Work in a position that baldness or sudden style changes are not tolerated ( even if it’s for health )
  • Have severe migraine periods ( especially caused by the cold in the head)
  • Think that you can’t stand the baldness and you look terrible in such a look.
  • Have long hair and don’t think that you could wait for your hair to grow like this.
  • Are a female and don’t want to lose all of the hair on your head. Long hair is considered as one of the most important feminine elements after all.
